Our most recent projects include :

BAe Systems, Bridgewater.
During the past twelve months we have greatly increased our level of activity in the acid and chemical resistant linings sector and we now offer the design, supply and installation of a full range of resin-based products. At this defence establishment we installed Durosil DR11 acid-proof concrete to overlay and seal chemical containment areas. Other contracts in this field have been won in the metal and food processing industries.

Lafarge Cement, Northfleet.
The major planned shutdown was in January this year, when we carried out substantial repairs to the kilns.

Shell UK, Stanlow Refinery.
Throughout 2002 we participated in the overhaul and maintenanace of many of the production units, including the solvents, sulphur, energy recovery and flare stack plants.

Britannia Refined Metals, Kent.
Last September we built a large lead smelting furnace for this client. Despite the constraints imposed by working in a lead-contaminated environment , with all the necessary health screening and safety precautions, we erected the new structure to programme and budget.

Irish Cement, Limerick & Drogheda.
We hold the refractory maintenance and repair contract for both works and visit each site several times each year, each time mobilising a complete kiln and preheater repair team.

Blue Circle Cement Egypt, Alexandria.
In May 2001 we were awarded the contract to manage and supervise the installation, by a local contractor, of 2500 tonnes of material to a new 5000tpd FLS four-stage preheater/precalciner plant. This contract was finally completed in summer 2002.

Elementis Chromium, Stockton.
Although not a cement plant, the manufacturing process at this works is very similar and we have carried out all repair and maintenance work to the rotary kilns and associated equipment for a number of years, including the 2003 shutdown.

Power Station Boiler Overhauls.
We have recently completed major boiler shutdowns at Fiddlers Ferry for P.J.Douglas Engineering and at Ratcliffe Power Station for Alstom Power Construction.
